Hole 3
Regardless of tee, this is a difficult left to right driving hole made more so for those playing from the white tee by the fact that it lies behind the River Swift. One of the few holes on the course with the county’s trademark ridge and furrow, the fairway is undulating. A significant fairway bunker catches any misdirected drives and a large cherry tree on the right can interfere with the shot in to a large, elevated green with narrow opening and deep left-hand bunker.
Pro Tip:
One of the toughest tee shots on the course. Sacrifice distance to try and find the fairway through the avenue of trees. An approach up the right side of the green will give you a better angle, avoiding the deep bunker on the front left of the green.
